Protean expresses an interpretation of reality through psychological and often cryptic music.

The music created, to be thought provoking, ideally played with all the lights off in the room and loud. Isolation and unease allowing you to confront the deeper elements of your emotions.

The medium of sound has allowed protean to express interpretations on emotional and philosophical perspectives with this Psychological music.

Protean's name meaning "constantly changing" is reflective in the music expressing different ways and ideas and to be bound by none. In tracks "secret sunday and darkest light, even the vocals are expressed differently.

This is not dance or ambient music
This is experimental electronic, psychological music.
The cd album "darkest light" has a playing time of over 40 minutes and is the first album released by Protean, on pnd.org label.For people who like a more industrial approach to electronic music.
